Her empathetic nature was evident early in her life, and she dedicated her career to helping others as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Sandra found immense joy and fulfillment in working with disabled children, providing them with care and support that went beyond the call of duty. A proud graduate of Wolcott High, Sandra carried the values she learned there throughout her life. Her commitment to making the world a better place was evident every day, especially in her role as a mother to her beloved son, Draco Martinez. She treasured every moment spent with him, and their bond was a testament to the love and devotion that defined Sandra's life. Sandra is survived by her loving sisters, Susan Caisse and Donna Garcia, who will forever cherish their memories of growing up together, sharing laughter, and supporting one another through life's challenges. She also leaves behind one grandchild, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. Though Sandra never married, she surrounded herself with family and friends who became her chosen family, offering her love and companionship throughout her life. Her warmth and generosity touched everyone she met, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion. In accordance with the family's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Sandra's life and the profound impact she had on those around her. Her family expresses their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. They would like to extend a special message: "We love you, Sandra, and you will be missed beyond measure." In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in Sandra's memory be made to a charity supporting disabled children, a cause close to her heart.
