Sandra Kay Lindley Caldwell

It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Sandra Kay Lindley Caldwell, who left us peacefully on August 20, 2026, after a courageous battle with heart disease and diabetes. Born on November 4, 1953, in Mineral Wells, Sandra was a beacon of strength and resilience whose memory will be cherished by all who knew her. Sandra was the cherished daughter of the late James Franklin Lindley and Effie Elizabeth Walker Lindley. She was also predeceased by her beloved husband, George Michael Caldwell, her little brother, Larry James Lindley, and her loyal canine companion, DoGee. Though she has left this earthly realm, her spirit lives on in the hearts of her surviving family: sisters Margaret Lindley Maxwell and her husband David, and Patricia Glover; her adored nieces Angela Qualls and Amanda Lasley; her great-niece Ashli Marsh, and great-nephew Keaton Lasley; and her great-great-nephews Benjamin and Cannan. Sandra was a proud graduate of Mineral Wells High School, Class of 1972. Her professional journey took her to Mepo/Electra, later Phillips, where she dedicated over 20 years of her life. She also found fulfillment in her work with Meals on Wheels of Palo Pinto County, where her caring nature shone brightly. Sandra was not only known for her professional achievements but also for her incredible talent in the kitchen, creating the most beautiful and delicious cakes that brought joy to many. Sandra's love for nature was evident in her passion for birds, which she lovingly nurtured with feeders and bird baths scattered throughout her yard. Her affinity for the gentle melodies of wind chimes, the tranquility of the beach, and the grace of sea turtles spoke volumes about her appreciation for the world's beauty. A woman of remarkable character, Sandra was known for her fierce independence, her loving heart, and her gift of conversation. She leaves a legacy of warmth and love that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Sandra's honor. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date, which will be announced in due course. Sandra's family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts, a testament to the love and joy she brought into the world.
