November 11, 1961 — October 8, 2026

Sandra Jean, lovingly known as our "unicorn", passed away on October 8, 2026, after bravely surviving over 30 years with cancer. Born on November 11, 1961, in Saginaw, Michigan, she was a steady presence of quiet strength and compassion, leaving an indelible impression on those lucky enough to know her. Sandy was the cherished daughter of Ronald and Marjorie Prevost. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Mathew and her father, Ronald. Sandy is survived by her dear husband, Dale, with whom she shared 41 years of marriage; together they nurtured a beautiful family of sons Mathew, Joshua and Andrew. Her legacy of love and resilience continues through her other surviving family members: her mother Marjorie, sisters Kathy, Cherie, Denise, brother Ron, along with many cousins and close friends. A proud graduate of Arthur Hill High School, Sandy initially worked in retail before dedicating her life to her greatest vocation—being a full-time mother and homemaker. She excelled in the art of mothering, anchoring her family with endless love and protective guidance. Sandy was an integral member of the Club of Life, where she was shaped by her childhood as the fourth of five siblings. Growing up in a vibrant neighborhood filled with many children and extended family near, she forged lifelong bonds and cherished memories. Her adventurous spirit was evident from a young age, whether overcoming the challenges of roller skating, mastering softball under her father's guidance, or hosting memorable gatherings during her teenage years. Family was Sandy's greatest joy. She reveled in camping trips, watching her boys explore the world on minibikes and snowmobiles, and even partaking in playful kitchen food fights. Her humble and kind nature shone brightly, even amid life's most challenging trials. Her faith and dedication to her family were her pillars of strength, guiding her through every hardship with grace. A celebration of Sandy's life will be held on October 19, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Snow's Funeral Home, located at 3775 N Center Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Brian's House in Essexville, MI, honoring Sandy's enduring spirit of grace. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate hospice staff from Covenant At Home and Brian's House for their exceptional care during Sandy's final days. Her enduring message to us all remains: "Always stay humble and kind."
