March 1, 1950 — July 7, 2026
Sandy was born in Tulare, Ca. to Louis and Lola Tinney on March 1, 1950. She passed away July 7, 2026, at home in Farmersville. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Lola. Also, her brother Jerry Tinney of Lompoc, Ca., sister Carol Skelton of Phoenix, Arizona, sister-in-law Freda Tinney, Farmersville, and nephew Christopher Willis, Farmersville.
Sandy leaves behind a brother Larry Tinney, two sisters Shirlene Potts and Kinihia Willis (James), numerous cousins, nieces and nephews who considered her their second mom. She also had many treasured friendships.
Sandy started her career as a hairdresser which was her true calling in life after graduating from High School in Exeter. She worked for years as a cosmetology teacher and later a supervisor at Federico's Beauty College. Due to health reasons, she changed jobs several times and finally ended her career working for Eagle Mt. Casino as a baker when she retired.
Sandy had so many talents she shared with her family. She sewed, crochet, painted and loved to decorate her home. She loved to bake and perfected lots of yummy recipes to share with everyone. She loved to host dinners at her house where she loved cooking for her family. Her favorite holidays were Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Anyone who knew her knows how much she loved reality shows, political debates and her pets. She had a great sense of humor and loved to tease everyone.
Sandy was blessed with a huge heart, and she will be missed greatly.
