Sandra Denise Marshall, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2026. Born on December 2, 1950, in Visalia, California, Sandra was the cherished daughter of John and June Aguiar, who predeceased her. Sandra's life was a testament to love, kindness, and selfless service to others. Sandra's journey was marked by her unwavering devotion to her family. She shared 59 wonderful years of marriage with her high school sweetheart, Mark, whom she married on February 14, 1968, in Kingsburg, California. Their enduring love was a beacon of hope and joy to all who knew them. Together, they raised two children, Mark and Lisa, who continued to fill her life with pride and happiness. Her son Mark, with his wife Andrea, and her daughter Lisa, alongside her husband Patrick, blessed Sandra with five grandchildren: Travis, Ryan, Brad, Tristan, and Autumn. Sandra also welcomed the joy of three great-grandchildren. Sandra was a devoted sister to her brothers, John and Matt, and shared a special bond with her cousins, Barbara Watkins, whom she considered a sister and Sheryl Bigart that visited her as much as she could. Her family was her world, and she embraced each role with grace and warmth. In her early years, Sandra dedicated herself to volunteering at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. After relocating to Carson City, she became an active member of the St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Community, where she found fulfillment in serving others, particularly by bringing communion to the sick and those in rest homes. Her faith and service were the cornerstones of her life, and she touched many lives with her compassion and dedication. Sandra was a woman of many talents and interests. Her encyclopedic knowledge of gardening and her love for plants and flowers were renowned, and her garden was a testament to her nurturing spirit and her connection to nature. A celebration of Sandra's life will be held on October 22, 2026, at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Community, located at 3000 N Lompa Lane, Carson City, Nevada, 89706. A Rosary will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m. To honor Sandra's memory, the family suggests donations be made to the St. Teresa of Avila Conference of St. Vincent de Paul Society in Carson City, Nevada.
