Born on May 5, 1969, in Schenectady, New York, Samuel lived a life filled with love, dedication, and an unwavering spirit. Samuel was the cherished son of Samuel Cook II and Gloria Cook, who instilled in him the values of kindness and resilience that he carried throughout his life. Raised in Schenectady, Samuel attended Linton High School where he formed lifelong friendships and discovered his passion for the culinary arts. He pursued this passion by attending Bryant and Stratton Culinary, which paved the way for his fulfilling career as a chef. Samuel's culinary skills were not only his profession but his art, bringing joy and satisfaction to those who had the pleasure of experiencing his creations. His love for food was only rivaled by his love for his family. As a single father, he dedicated his life to his sons, Tashan Cook and the late Malcolm Cook, providing them with a nurturing home filled with warmth and laughter. His legacy lives on through Tashan and his beloved grandchild, who will forever carry the memory of a doting grandfather. In addition to his sons, Samuel is survived by his sister Linette Boone and his dear sister-in-law, Monica Cook, whose unwavering support was a constant in his life. Samuel's family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Outside of the kitchen, Samuel found solace in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed the melodies of music and the captivating stories of movies, often spending his evenings immersed in both. These interests brought him great happiness and offered a reprieve from the demands of daily life.
