Sammie lived a life full of purpose, love, and dedication. He was a beacon of light and strength to his family and all who knew him. His unwavering commitment to his loved ones and his community was an inspiration to many. Sammie married the love of his life, Eula Mike, with whom he shared 50 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a family grounded in love and faith. Sammie was predeceased by his brothers, Dray and his wife Eula Mike, as well as his cherished daughter Bridget Mike and son James Mike. Despite these profound losses, Sammie remained a pillar of strength for his family, offering them unwavering support and guidance through all of life's challenges. Sammie's legacy lives on through his surviving family members: his devoted wife, Eula Mike, their nine adoring grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy to his life. The love he instilled in his family will continue to thrive through the generations. A man of integrity and kindness, Sammie was known for his warm smile, gentle heart, and generous spirit.
