Samantha Davis
March 5, 1987 — August 23, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Samantha Davis on August 23, 2026. Born on March 5, 1987, in Columbus, Georgia, Samantha brought light and love into the lives of all who knew her. Her journey, though brief, was filled with accomplishments, laughter, and a deep sense of compassion that left an indelible mark on her family and friends.
Samantha was the cherished daughter of Lisa Turpin and Ronnie Davis, who survive her and continue to hold her close in their hearts. She was a devoted sister to Shanna' Turpin, Ebony Turpin, La'Ron Davis, and Kanetria Davis, each of whom she shared a unique and special bond with. Samantha's warmth and kindness extended beyond her family, as she was also a treasured friend to Crystal McKenzie, Kewondrea Owens, and Tiffany Hill.
Samantha's educational journey began at Bullock County High School, where she graduated with honors in 2003. Her academic prowess and thirst for knowledge led her to pursue higher education at Auburn University Montgomery (AUM), where she continued to excel and inspire those around her.
Though Samantha's grandfather, Clifford Davis, predeceased her, his spirit and the values he imparted lived on through her. Samantha had a remarkable ability to touch lives with her generosity and genuine spirit, and she will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to those she loved.
A service to celebrate Samantha's life will be held on September 5, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Mt. Silla Missionary Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
