In loving memory, we announce the passing of Sam Tom Peralto, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world on April 19, 2026. Born on November 17, 1963, in Dallas, TX, Sam's journey through life was marked by profound love, dedication, and an unwavering spirit. His sudden departure, due to an unfortunate incident that resulted in a brain injury, has left a deep void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Sam was the beloved son of the late Katie and Simon Peralto, who instilled in him values that guided him through life's many paths. Their legacy of love and kindness lived on through Sam, who shared his life with his devoted wife, Kathleen Peralto. For 28 beautiful years, they nurtured a family filled with laughter, support, and an abundance of love. Together, Sam and Kathleen raised three wonderful children—Kendra, Ty, and German Peralto—who were the pride of his life. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Chyrae and Matias Peralto, who brought immense joy and light into his world. A proud graduate of Many Farms High School, Sam pursued a career in law enforcement, a calling that resonated deeply with his sense of duty and justice. He began his career with the Navajo Nation in Window Rock, AZ, where he served with honor for 15 years. His dedication to community and service later led him to the Chandler Police Department in Phoenix, where he continued his commitment to protect and serve. Sam's life was not defined solely by his career. He was an avid football enthusiast, with a particular passion for the Dallas Cowboys, a team he supported with unwavering loyalty. His love for sports extended beyond the field; he found joy in team roping, a hobby that connected him to friends and fostered a deep sense of camaraderie. Known for his quick smile and infectious sense of humor, Sam had an unparalleled ability to brighten any room he entered. His laughter was a source of comfort and happiness to those around him, and his jokes often left others in stitches, fostering an environment of warmth and joy. A memorial service to honor Sam's life will be held on April 25, 2026, at 10:01 a.m. at the Tonaea Church of Christ, located at Hwy 160 milepost 354 in Tonalea, AZ. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Sam are invited to join in celebrating his remarkable journey. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Tuba City Regional Health Care. Your kindness and care will forever be remembered and cherished. In this time of sorrow, we find solace in the beautiful memories Sam leaves behind, and he will remain "forever in our hearts." As we gather to celebrate the life of Sam Tom Peralto, let us remember his legacy of love, laughter, and dedication. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit and the impact he made on this world will endure through the lives he touched.
