Sam Peter

September 11, 1967 — June 13, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sam Peter, beloved daughter, sister, and cherished friend, who left this world on June 13, 2025, at the age of 56. Born on September 11, 1967, in the United States, Sam was the cherished daughter of Emmy and Dylan. She bravely faced the challenges of cancer, a brain tumor, and a heart attack, which ultimately took her from us far too soon. Sam served her country with honor in the Army, a testament to her strength and unwavering dedication. Her journey through life was marked by her passion for cooking, where she found joy in creating meals that brought people together, nourishing both body and soul. Beyond her professional pursuits, Sam was an avid football enthusiast, delighting in the camaraderie and excitement of the game. Her love for football was only surpassed by her love for her family and friends, most notably her best friend, Weston, and her devoted brother, JD Peter, who survives her. Those who knew Sam will remember her as a beacon of warmth and kindness, someone who loved unconditionally and was equally loved in return. Her family shares that Sam was deeply aware of the love that surrounded her, and she left this world knowing she held a special place in the hearts of those she touched. A celebration of Sam's life will take place on June 26, 2025, at 3:00 PM at WestonMckenzie. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Sam's memory, honoring her generous spirit and compassionate nature. Sam's enduring legacy will be one of love, resilience, and the profound impact she had on everyone she met. As we gather to remember her, we find solace in the knowledge that she is at peace, having lived a life full of love and devotion. She knew it was her time to go and left us with grace, forever a shining light in our hearts.
