In Loving Memory
Salvador Cocco
December 16, 1964 — April 11, 2026
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Salvador Cocco, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who left this world on April 11, 2026, at the age of 61. Salvador was born on December 16, 1964, in the picturesque city of Vigo, Spain, and his life journey was a testament to the vibrancy and passion that defined his every endeavor.
Salvador's life was tragically cut short during one of his cherished bicycle rides, an activity he held dear. On that fateful day, he was hit by a car while he was crossing Plantation Gardens Drive on the crosswalk. Despite the circumstances, his spirit continues to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Salvador's life was a tapestry of dedication, love, and adventure. In 2000, he married the love of his life, Giovanna Fois, in Sardinia, Italy. Together, they shared 25 beautiful years, during which they built a family and a life full of shared passions. Their journey together began with a business collaboration that focused on setting the foundation for a strong company, the company would have been based in Sardinia in order to valorize the rich culture of the territory. After having three children, in 2012, they decided to embark on a new adventure: moving to Fort Myers, Florida, in pursuit of the American Dream.
Salvador was a man of intellect and vision. He graduated high school in 1985 and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree from the prestigious Università L. Bocconi in Milan, Italy, in 1991. His thirst for knowledge led him to pursue a Master in Management of Innovation and Technologies from Tecnopolis Novus Ortus Science Park in Bari, Italy, in 1993. His academic achievements were a reflection of his lifelong commitment to learning and innovation.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Salvador had a profound love for travel and geography, which he shared with his family. He found joy in riding his bicycle, swimming, and capturing life's moments through photography. His candid and unapologetic nature endeared him to many, as he always spoke his mind with integrity and sincerity.
Salvador's legacy is carried on by his devoted wife, Giovanna, and their three children, Sebastiano, Maddalena, and Maria Grazia. Together, they traveled the world, creating memories and experiences that will forever be cherished.
A service to honor Salvador's life will be held on May 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, located at 13060 Palomino Ln, Fort Myers, FL 33912. Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of a man who was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
In remembering Salvador, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of love, adventure, and unwavering dedication to family and values. His memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
