Born on June 2, 1938, in the charming town of Hooks, Texas, Sally was a beacon of warmth and kindness, whose presence graced the lives of everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
Sally was the cherished daughter of Allie Fields, and her journey through life was marked by resilience, love, and dedication to her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert L. Clark Sr., and her dear grandchildren, Laquancia King and James King, whose memories she held close to her heart.
Sally's legacy of love continues through her devoted children: Theresa King, along with her husband James King; Demetra Clark-Toussaint; Patrice Mayes-Johnson and her husband Kevin Johnson Sr.; Robert Clark Jr.; and Terry Clark, with his wife Brenda Clark. Sally's family was her pride and joy, and her love extended to her 28 great-grandchildren, who will carry forward the lessons and love she imparted.
A graduate of Hooks, Texas, Sally embraced her role as a stay-at-home mom before pursuing her passion as a beautician. She was a vibrant member of her church community, actively participating until her health required her to become bed-bound six years ago. Despite this, her spirit remained undiminished, and her faith unwavering.
Sally's love for simple pleasures was evident in her cherished hobbies. She found immense joy in sitting on her porch, working on crossword puzzles, and basking in the company of her family. Her warm smile and generous nature made her a beloved figure in her community, always ready to welcome others with open arms.
