Sally Carlson

Sally Marie Carlson, 76, of Sherwood, Oregon passed away on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026. Sally was born in Eugene, Oregon in 1949 to Roger Stewart and Kathleen Dick as the only daughter of four children. Sally earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the University of Oregon, and pursued her career as a high school math teacher. She taught in Coquille, OR. as well as Utqiaġvik (Barrow), AK. She found joy in a good book, as well her knitting, sewing, gardening, and cooking projects. Sally enjoyed sharing her creations with those she loved. Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Kathleen and Roger. She is survived by her loving sons, Adam (Brenda) Carlson and Jeremiah (Nicole) Carlson, and daughter Maria (Sean) Wilson. Her brothers, Harvey (Bridgette), Craig (Brenda) and Dean (Melissa), as well as numerous other family members and close friends. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Sally’s honor to The American Cancer Society.
