Born on January 11, 1954, in the vibrant town of Kumbo, Salah Albert's life was a testament to service, love, and community dedication. Salah Albert, affectionately known by many as "Yap Yap," was a man of integrity and warmth. His life was defined by his unwavering commitment to his family, his profession, and the larger community. A proud and loving father, he is survived by his beloved children: Salah Roseline Fenlai, Salah Maceline Kinyuy, Salah Derick Senka, Salah Sandrine K, Salah Blaise Ngah, and Beriyuy Theophile Salah. Each of them carries forward his legacy of love, strength, and devotion. Albert's career as a police officer was marked by exemplary service and dedication. From 1975 until his retirement in 2007, he served with honor and distinction for 32 years, culminating his career as an "Officier de Police de 1er grade 6 echelon." His commitment to justice and public service left an indelible mark on his colleagues and the many citizens who were fortunate to know him. Beyond his professional achievements, Salah Albert was a man of the people, deeply loved and respected in the community. Known for his generous spirit and his ability to connect with those around him, he was a public figure whose presence brought comfort and joy to many. His legacy will be celebrated on April 18, 2026, at St. Anthony Of Padua Parish in Buea Town. The service will begin at 06:00 AM, where family, friends, and loved ones will gather to honor a life that was richly lived.
