Sadie was the beloved daughter of the late Monica and John Bowen, and she was dearly cherished by her surviving family members and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Monica and John, and two loving aunts, who will undoubtedly welcome her with open arms in the afterlife. A student at Barboursville Middle School, Sadie was known for her inquisitive mind and kind spirit. She was a dedicated student who always approached her studies with enthusiasm and curiosity. Despite her young age, Sadie had a profound impact on her classmates and teachers, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and compassion. Sadie's love for soccer was unmatched. She spent countless hours on the field, where her energy and passion for the game were truly inspiring. She was not only a talented athlete but also a team player who encouraged and uplifted those around her. Off the field, Sadie found solace in the timeless melodies of old rock music, a genre she enjoyed exploring with her friends. A youth member at New Life Church, Sadie was a bright and spirited presence within the congregation. Her faith was an integral part of her life, and she found great joy in participating in church activities and community events. Her unwavering belief in kindness and love for all will forever be remembered by those who shared in her spiritual journey. A private funeral service to honor Sadie's life will be held on July 16, 2026. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Sadie's memory to a children’s charity of your choice, reflecting her love and dedication to helping others. Though Sadie's time with us was far too short, her impact on our hearts and lives is immeasurable. Her radiant smile, infectious laughter, and boundless love will remain etched in our memories forever.
