It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sabrina Willis, who departed from this world peacefully at her home on March 3, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on August 6, 1955, in Jackson, Mississippi, Sabrina was a beacon of kindness and warmth, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. The beloved daughter of Linda and the late Frankie Willis, Sabrina cherished her family above all else. She is survived by her devoted husband of 18 years, Stevie Hoskins, their loving daughter Brittany Hoskins, and precious granddaughter, Mercie Hoskins, who brought immense joy to her life. A proud graduate of Jackson State University, Sabrina majored in physics—a testament to her love of learning and passion for science. Her career spanned 35 years as a dedicated teacher, where she inspired countless students with her patient guidance and nurturing spirit. Her influence as an educator extended far beyond the classroom, as she instilled in her students a love for learning and the confidence to pursue their dreams. Sabrina's life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and creativity. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in sewing and cooking. Her home was often filled with the comforting aroma of her culinary creations and the warmth of her handmade quilts, which she lovingly crafted for family and friends. These hobbies were not just pastimes for Sabrina; they were expressions of her love and care. Known for her kind heart and gentle soul, Sabrina had an innate ability to make everyone feel special. Her laughter could light up a room, and her compassion knew no bounds. She took the time to listen, to offer a comforting word, and to provide support to those in need. Her legacy is one of love, empathy, and a life lived with grace and dignity. A service to celebrate Sabrina's remarkable life will be held on March 14, 2026, at 12:30 PM at St. Matthew’s Church, located at 4800 North Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32228. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring her memory and the beautiful impact she had on those around her. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their prayers and support during this difficult time. Sabrina's memory will be cherished forever, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Sabrina's name to a charity of your choice, as her life was a testament to the power of giving and the importance of community.
