It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Sabrina Carter, who departed this world peacefully in her sleep on May 21, 2026. Born on December 19, 1983, in West Chester, Pennsylvania, Sabrina was a beacon of kindness, love, and laughter, touching the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Sabrina was born to Danny and Mary Gentry, who instilled in her the values of compassion and community. Her brother, Chris, and her beloved mother, Mary, preceded her in death, and Sabrina carried their memories with her, finding comfort in the love they shared. A proud graduate of Sullivan East High School's Class of 2002, Sabrina's dedication to helping others led her to a fulfilling 20-year career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Her gentle hands and warm heart provided comfort to countless elderly patients, embodying her passion for caregiving. Ever eager to expand her knowledge and skills, Sabrina pursued a Behavioral Health Certificate at Central Penn College, driven by her inherent desire to support those in need. Sabrina's life was a tapestry woven with love for her family, friends, and her cherished dog, Rocky. She found joy in the simple moments, whether it was sharing a laugh or a smile, or spending time with her sisters—Tara (Anthony), Danielle (Jon), and Heather (Jason)—and her treasured nieces and nephews: Dylan, Isaiah, Malachi, Kadence, Jayda, and Dannie. Her close friends, Laura, Jon, and Jazmynne, were blessed by her unwavering loyalty and radiant spirit. Known for her infectious laughter and loving nature, Sabrina's presence was a gift to those lucky enough to cross her path. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her love for people and animals was evident in everything she did. Whether through her work, her friendships, or her family ties, Sabrina left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. As we say goodbye to Sabrina, we celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to the well-being of others. Her legacy will endure in the smiles she brought to our faces and the kindness she spread throughout her journey. Sabrina, though you have left this earth, your spirit will forever remain in our hearts. Thank you for the joy, compassion, and love you shared so selflessly. Until we meet again, may you rest in peace.
