S J was treated at a Texas medical institution, where he bravely fought until his passing on April 23, 2026. He was 43 years old. Born on March 13, 1983, in the vibrant city of New York, S J was the beloved son of George Smith. As well as Father to 2 beautiful children. He was predeceased by his dear family member, Angie Smalls, and leaves behind his loving spouse, Takesha Austin Smith, and his treasured children, Damian and Cenea Smith. S J poured his love and joy into the lives of those around him, touching hearts with his infectious humor and warmth. A proud graduate of the Brooklyn Institute of Technology, S J carved a unique path in life, becoming the owner and operator of Tidal Trucking and Miracle Music Inc. His entrepreneurial spirit was matched only by his passion for the great outdoors. An avid fisherman and outdoorsman, S J found solace and adventure in nature’s embrace, delighting in the serenity and thrill that each new experience brought. S J was a true New Yorker at heart. He loved exploring his city with the same zest for life that led him to travel the world. His adventures were countless, each journey adding a chapter to the novel of his extraordinary life. Those who knew S J remember him as the life of any gathering. His presence had the power to illuminate any room, his words often leaving those around him in stitches with laughter. His ability to light up a space and make worries fade was a gift, and his comedic timing was impeccable, turning ordinary moments into cherished memories. A service to celebrate S J's life will be held on April 29, 2026, at 5:30 PM at A Plus Cremation Services, located at 1223 Leander Rd, Georgetown, Texas. In keeping with his wishes for simplicity, the family invites all who knew him to join them in honoring his memory. S J's final words will be shared with his loved ones in a special letter, as he wished to leave everyone with a personal message. In this time of sorrow, we remember S J Smith as a beacon of light and laughter. His legacy is one of love, adventure, and unyielding joy.
