Ryan Wright Obituary It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Ryan Wright, who departed this world peacefully in his sleep on June 11, 2026. Born on February 23, 1984, in Hobart, Oklahoma, Ryan graced this world with his warmth, humor, and boundless compassion for 42 wonderful years. Ryan was the beloved son of Dave Wattenbarger and Gina Wright, who, alongside his cherished son Jonathan Cloud, sister Emma Wright, brother Colt Wattenbarger, and an extended family including grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and an abundance of friends, will forever hold him in their hearts. Ryan was predeceased by his grandmother Deanna Wattenbarger and his great-grandparents Ralph and Emma Wall, and Claude and Evelyn Wright, whose spirits welcomed him with open arms. Ryan’s journey through life was marked by a deep love for nature and a zest for adventure. An avid outdoorsman, he found joy in camping, kayaking, and fishing, often accompanied by his signature wit and penchant for playful pranks. His laughter was infectious, his humor was sharp, and his heart was as vast as the Oklahoma skies he adored. A proud graduate of the Barbershop Academy, Ryan dedicated his career to the art of barbering. His skilled hands and creative spirit transformed ordinary haircuts into personal works of art, while his chair was a haven for stories, laughter, and camaraderie. Ryan’s clients were more than patrons; they were friends, drawn to his compassionate nature and quick wit. Ryan’s legacy is one of love, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to bringing joy to those around him. His ability to make everyone feel special and seen left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His life, though far too short, was a testament to the power of genuine connection and the beauty of living authentically. A celebration of Ryan’s life will be held on June 27, 2026, at the Ryan Wright Memorial Service located at 2219 Woodlawn Ave., Guthrie, OK. Family, friends, and all whose lives Ryan touched are invited to gather in his memory, to share stories, laughter, and tears, and to honor the remarkable man he was. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Ryan’s name, to continue the legacy of generosity and kindness he embodied. While Ryan’s physical presence will be deeply missed, his spirit will forever guide us, reminding us to cherish each moment, embrace laughter, and above all, love fiercely. Rest in peace, dear Ryan. You will be missed beyond measure and loved for eternity.
