It is with profound sadness and deep respect that we announce the passing of Ryan Doudiet, a cherished father, son, brother, and friend, who left this world on February 20, 2026, at the age of 45. Born on September 19, 1980, in the heart of Dryden, Ontario, Ryan was the beloved son of Cameron and Kathy Doudiet. His father, Cameron, preceded him in death, but his memory lives on in the family Ryan so deeply cherished. Ryan was a man who embraced life with an open heart and a joyful spirit. He found solace and joy in the great outdoors, where he was an avid fisherman. His love for nature was evident to all who knew him, and he relished every moment spent tinkering outside, finding peace in the simplicity of the natural world. His mother, Kathy, was his unwavering rock, always reminding Ryan of the love and support that surrounded him. Her guidance and love were constants in his life, and he carried her wisdom with him in all he did. As a father, Ryan's love knew no bounds. He leaves behind a beautiful legacy in his children: his son Mike, his daughter Jessica, and sons Bobby and Cameron. They were the center of his universe, and he was devoted to their happiness and well-being. His siblings, Samantha and Nathan Doudiet, and his extended family, including brother Mike Lake and brothers Ian and Jason Daw, along with sister Steph Daw, will forever cherish the moments they shared with Ryan. Ryan's passion for cooking was legendary among those fortunate enough to gather around his table. He delighted in creating unique recipes, bringing joy and comfort to family and friends with each culinary masterpiece. His laughter, a soothing balm to the soul, and his radiant smile, which could light up any room, will be dearly missed. A man of integrity and dedication, Ryan's work ethic was a testament to his character. He approached his endeavors with passion and determination, leaving an impression of hard work and loyalty that inspired those around him. Above all, Ryan treasured the simple joys in life and strove to live happily, finding beauty in the little things. His presence was a blessing to all, and his memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who loved him. A service to honor Ryan's life will be held on February 27, 2026, at the Dryden Funeral Home. Family, friends, and all whose lives he touched are invited to gather and celebrate the warmth and love Ryan brought into the world. As we say goodbye, we hold onto the special message from his family: "Forever in our hearts and beside us with every step." May Ryan's spirit continue to guide and watch over us, as we carry forward the love and joy he shared. Rest in peace, dear Ryan. Your legacy of love and laughter will remain with us always.
