It is with profound sadness and heartfelt reflection that we announce the passing of Ryan Donald Duell, who departed this life on November 28, 2025, at the age of 41. He passed away peacefully at home in St. Petersburg, Florida, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Ryan was born on January 27, 1984, in Warsaw, New York. He was the beloved son of Tina Duell, who survives him, and was raised in a family filled with warmth and affection. Throughout his life, Ryan exhibited an extraordinary ability to touch the hearts of those around him with his quick wit and infectious humor. He had an uncanny ability to bring laughter to any situation, a gift that endeared him to all who knew him. A proud and honorable veteran, Ryan served his country with distinction in the United States Army as Military Police from 2003 to 2005. His time in service was marked by dedication and bravery, attributes that defined his character throughout his life. Ryan's life was enriched by the deep bonds he shared with his family. He was preceded in death by his fiancée, the love of his life, Lauren Hearin, whom he cherished beyond measure. Together, they shared dreams and hopes for the future, and her memory remained a guiding light in his life. He leaves behind his greatest treasures, his children, Caleb Duell and Scarlette Duell, who were the joy of his life and his proudest legacy. He was a devoted father who instilled in them the values of kindness, strength, and resilience. Ryan is also survived by his loving mother, Tina Duell, his sister Angela (Ken) Seidl and sister, Danielle Duell, his beloved grandmother Frances Daley, and a large extended family including nieces Samantha, Amanda, MacKenzie, and Myla, and his nephew Ayden. He also leaves behind his dear Aunt Debby and Uncle Mike Lynch, Aunt Diana and Uncle Don Warham, as well as numerous cousins and a multitude of friends who became family through the years. Ryan's caring and loving nature extended beyond his family; he was a friend to all and a beacon of kindness. His generosity and compassion touched many lives, and his spirit will continue to live on through the countless memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him. A service to honor Ryan's remarkable life will be held on June 26, 2026, at 2:30 PM at Bay Pines National Cemetery, located at 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, Florida. Family, friends, and all those who were touched by Ryan's humor and heart are invited to gather in celebration of his life at the VFW Post 9272 10997 72nd Ave. Seminole, Fl. Ryan Donald Duell will forever be remembered for the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the indelible mark he left on the world. Though we mourn his passing, we are grateful for the time we had with him and the memories that will continue to live on in our hearts. May he rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
