It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ruthann Zanetti, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who left us on August 31, 2026, after a sudden illness. Born on December 22, 1944, in Shelby County, Ruthann lived a life full of warmth, generosity, and unwavering strength. Ruthann was preceded in death by her loving parents and cherished cousins. She is survived by her devoted daughter Denise Tibbs, her sons Mike and David Zanetti, and her treasured grandchildren: Daniel, Justin, Meghan Gainey, Terrica Zanetti, and Brittany Zanetti. Her legacy continues through her four grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life and her greatest source of pride. Ruthann was a beacon of kindness and compassion to all who knew her. Her life was a testament to the power of faith, family, and friendship. She was known for her gentle spirit, infectious laughter, and her ability to make everyone feel special and loved. Her home was always a welcoming place, filled with warmth and the aroma of her delicious cooking, which she lovingly shared with family and friends. A service to honor and celebrate Ruthann's life will be held on September 6, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at East Acres Baptist Church, located at 6904 Navy Rd. Family, friends, and loved ones are invited to gather to remember a life well-lived and to share stories and memories of a remarkable woman whose love touched so many.
