Ruth Ann
December 15, 1959 — September 16, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Ruth Ann, who departed this world on September 16, 2026. Born on December 15, 1959, in Fresno, California, Ruth was a cherished daughter of the late Arrealeous and Nellie Evans.
From a young age, Ruth was known for her vibrant spirit and her deep love for family. She graduated from Pierce High in Arbuckle, California, with the class of 1977, and later pursued an Associate's degree in Business, demonstrating her remarkable prowess with numbers. Ruth's career in business was marked by her dedication and keen intellect, qualities that she carried into all aspects of her life.
In the late 1990s, Ruth met the love of her life, Jay. Together, they shared nearly two decades of companionship, laughter, and love until Jay's passing from natural causes. Their bond was a testament to the power of love and partnership, and Ruth cherished the years they spent together.
Ruth's life was a tapestry woven with the threads of family, love, and resilience. She is survived by her devoted sisters, Denise Gaunt, Diane Gaunt, and Karen Davis, who stood by her side through life's many challenges and triumphs. Ruth also leaves behind her treasured niece, LaTanya, and nephews, Bryon, Sequoia, and David, who will forever remember her as a loving and supportive aunt.
Though she faced ongoing cardiovascular complications due to a diabetic mellitus illness, Ruth's strength and courage never wavered. Her passing marks the end of a beautiful journey, leaving us with cherished memories and a legacy of love.
Ruth is predeceased by her parents and her beloved nephew, Shawn, whose memory she held dear. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Ruth's life and legacy, in accordance with her wishes.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that donations be made in Ruth's memory to the American Heart Association, an organization close to her heart. The Association is based in Dallas, Texas, and carries out vital work in the field of cardiovascular health.
Ruth Ann will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her grace, warmth, and unwavering spirit will forever remain in our hearts. May she rest in peace, reunited with those who have gone before her.
