Russell was the loving son of the late Mr. Wade Tab Richmond and Clarice E. Newton Richmond. He was predeceased by his cherished grandson and his beloved parents and grandparents, whose memories he held dear throughout his life. He is survived by his devoted daughter and adored granddaughter, who were the light of his life. Russell was a beloved brother to his six sisters and two brothers, and a treasured uncle to his many nieces and nephews. His family was his pride and joy, and he shared a special bond with each of them. Throughout his life, Russell was known for his kind heart, sharp wit, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved. His generosity of spirit and infectious laughter brought joy to everyone around him. He was a steadfast friend and a guiding light to his family, always offering wisdom and support. Russell shared his life with his partners Dessie Richard's and Linda Thomas, who were both integral parts of his journey. He cherished the love and companionship they brought into his life. A service to honor and celebrate Russell's life will be held on September 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM at B.E. Chapel. Family and friends are invited to gather and remember the remarkable life he led and the enduring legacy he leaves behind. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of their choice, reflecting Russell's generous spirit and his desire to help others.
