Rudy Faz

Rudy Faz, born on August 30, 1970, in Houston, Texas, peacefully passed away on July 3, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Rudy's journey through life was marked by an unyielding spirit, a heart full of love, and an infectious humor that left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Rudy was a beloved son to Annie Faz, who survives him, and a devoted father to Belinda Marie Rangel (Juan), Rudy Faz Jr. (Jessica), Lawrence Rene Faz (Mayra), Jacob Zachary Faz, and Jeremiah Christopher Faz. He was also a cherished grandfather to six adoring grandchildren: Heaven Rangel, Isabella Rangel, Alyson Faz, Nicholas Faz, Ace Faz, and Lorenzo Faz. Rudy's family circle extended to his siblings, Joe Faz (Veronica), Jesse Soliz (Valerie), and Jason Soliz (Elena), and he was a loving uncle and cousin to many. A man who knew the value of family, Rudy found his greatest joy in spending time with them. Whether it was sharing a meal or just a moment of laughter, Rudy made sure every gathering was filled with warmth and happiness. Known for his loud mouth, humor, and warm smile, Rudy was always ready with a joke to lighten the mood, his kindness and generosity touching countless lives along the way. Rudy was also an active member of his church, where he found great comfort and community. His unwavering faith and compassion for others were evident in his daily life, as he dedicated himself to serving both his faith and his family with equal fervor. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Dominic Faz and Paul Anthony Faz. As the Faz family navigates this profound loss, they wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered love and support during this difficult time. A celebration of Rudy's life will be held on July 25, 2026, at 3:00-7:00PM at Helping Hands Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 16912 N Interstate IH35, Austin, TX 78728. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the remarkable life Rudy lived.
