Born on March 15, 1958, in the warm embrace of Miami Florida , Ruby was the beloved daughter of Rayford Lee Sr. and Adell Jones. Ruby's life was filled with love, laughter, and a dedication to her family that was unparalleled. She shared a beautiful marriage with her late husband, Rodney Clark, whose memory she held dear. Together, they built a family anchored in love and unity. Ruby was the adored mother of April and Norris Maynor, who were the center of her universe. Her love extended to her five grandchildren, Dexter Maynor Taniya Maynor, Maurice Maynor, Monterious Maynor, and Eric Williams Jr., as well as her cherished great-grandchild, who brought her immense joy. Among her siblings, Ruby is survived by Rufus Jones, Vernon Jones, and Virgil Jones, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. She was predeceased by her siblings Mae Helen Jones, Rayford Lee Jones Jr., Michael Jones, William Jones, Anthony Jones, Horace Jones, Patricia Jones, and Ervin Jones, all of whom were deeply loved and missed. Ruby had a gift for bringing people together. Her home was always filled with the aroma of delicious meals, and she was a cook who never missed a day of preparing food for her loved ones. Her Sunday meals and Friday night fish fries were legendary, serving as the backdrop for countless family gatherings filled with warmth and laughter. Known for her sweet and gentle smile, Ruby's presence could light up any room. Her generous spirit and open arms welcomed everyone, making strangers feel like family. Ruby's big heart and unwavering kindness left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we celebrate Ruby's life, we remember her not only for the love she gave but for the legacy she leaves behind—a legacy of compassion, unity, and joy. Her memory will continue to be a guiding light for her family and friends.
