Born on July 27, 1958, in Maysville, KY, Ruby was a beacon of love and strength for all who knew her.
Ruby was the beloved daughter of the late Glenn Irvin Hester and Ivetta Ratliff Hester. Growing up in a close-knit family, she shared a special bond with her siblings and was predeceased by her brother, David Franklin “Frankie” Hester. Her sisters, Garnetta Applegate and Margaret Jewell Harper, remember her as a pillar of support and joy.
A proud graduate of Fleming County High School, Ruby dedicated her life to farming—a profession that mirrored her nurturing spirit and profound connection to the land. Her work was not just a career but a testament to her perseverance and dedication, qualities that she passed on to her family.
Ruby's greatest pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her loving son, Adam Logan and his wife Shandra of Mt. Olivet, KY, and her devoted daughter, Cristy Conway and her husband Spencer of Maysville, KY. Her legacy continues through her three cherished grandchildren, Alaina Jolly, Devin Logan, and Landon Logan, and her precious great-granddaughter, Wrenley Jolly. Ruby's heart was always full when surrounded by her family, and she took immense joy in watching them grow and thrive.
Throughout her life, Ruby exemplified kindness, resilience, and unwavering love. Her home was a sanctuary for family gatherings, where laughter and warmth filled the air. She had an innate ability to make everyone feel valued and loved, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Ruby's family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
