With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ruben Arocho, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who departed this world on May 13, 2026, at the age of 83. Ruben passed away peacefully at AdventHealth in Kissimmee, Florida, surrounded by the love of his cherished family. Born on May 5, 1943, in the vibrant town of Utuado, Puerto Rico, Ruben was the treasured son of Juan Arocho and Maria Montalvo. His journey through life was marked by profound love, unyielding dedication, and a spirit that radiated warmth and kindness to all who knew him. Ruben shared a beautiful life with his devoted wife, Haydee Arocho, with whom he celebrated 51 years of marriage. Their love story began on August 24, 1974, and blossomed through the decades, creating a legacy of love and family that will endure forever. Ruben's life was enriched by his career as a maintenance professional at Wheaton Glass in Millville, where he was known for his diligent work ethic, commitment, and the respect he garnered from colleagues and friends alike. His dedication to his work was only surpassed by his love for his family and his zest for life. A man of simple pleasures, Ruben found immense joy in life's everyday moments. He was an avid enthusiast of horse racing and could often be found at the track, enjoying the thrill of the sport. His love for playing the lottery and exploring the enchanting parks of Orlando was a testament to his belief in the magic and spontaneity of life. Above all, Ruben cherished his family and devoted his life to ensuring their happiness and well-being. Ruben is survived by a loving family who will forever hold him close in their hearts. His beloved daughter, Irene Gonzalez, brought him immense pride and joy, as did his grandchildren, Anthony Edwin Gonzalez and Isabel Marie Gonzalez. The legacy of love continues with his great-grandson, Jonathan Brandon Anthony Gonzalez, who will grow up surrounded by the stories and memories of a remarkable great-grandfather. Ruben's life will be celebrated on May 22, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Demarco-Luisi Funeral Home, located at 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland, NJ 08361.
