Buddy graduated from Grapevine High School in 1967. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1970, spending much of his service in Vietnam. After returning home, he built a long career at Miller Brewing Company, where he worked as a maintenance mechanic for 34 years before retiring in 2011. Together, they enjoyed performing songs by some of their favorite artists, including Gordon Lightfoot, George Jones, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and Johnny Cash. He and Penny also enjoyed singing and playing the piano and guitar. Those times spent making music together were special, creating memories that will live on in the hearts of those who shared them.
