Rosie Scherueble

January 17, 1933 — May 29, 2026

Rosie Scherueble, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on January 17, 1933, in the town of Kodiak, Alaska, Rosie was a beacon of warmth and kindness throughout her life. In July 1951, Rosie married her soulmate, Jack Scherueble, embarking on a 77 year journey together that was filled with love, laughter, music, and an unyielding devotion to family. The couple built a beautiful life in Everett, Washington, where Rosie graduated from Everett High School that same year. Rosie was a woman of many talents and spent her career in the commercial and residential real estate industry in the Everett area, where she was known for her professionalism and dedication. Beyond her career, she was an exceptional artist whose works captured the beauty of the world around her. Her gardens were legendary, thriving under her careful touch, and her home was always filled with the comforting aroma of her cooking and baking, a gathering place for friends and family who cherished her hospitality. Rosie's kindness and generosity were evident to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her quick wit and fantastic sense of humor brought joy and laughter to every room she entered. She had a deep spiritual connection and a profound faith that guided her throughout her life. She leaves behind a loving family: her daughters, Kathryn Ellis and Lisa Branham; her grandsons, Ryan Pickering, Brandon Pickering, Tyler Branham, and Jason Scherueble; and seven great-grandchildren who were the light of her life. Numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members also mourn her loss and celebrate her remarkable life. Preceding Rosie in death by just two months, Jack and Rosie's life will be celebrated together on July 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Everett Fire Fighters Association Hall, located at 2411 Hewitt Ave. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Legacy of Bothell Memory Care and the University of Washington Medical Center for their exceptional and loving care. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Rosie's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting her spirit of generosity and compassion. Rosie Scherueble will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Her legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire all who knew her.
