Born on August 3, 1959, in Utica, Mississippi, Rosie was the treasured daughter of John and Sadie McGriggs, who instilled in her the values of kindness, resilience, and grace. Rosie's life was a testament to the power of love and community. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her role as the heart of her family. Her legacy lives on through her 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, each of whom carries forward her lessons of compassion, strength, and unwavering faith. Preceded in death by her beloved brother, Thomas McGriggs Jr., Rosie carried his memory in her heart, often sharing stories filled with laughter and affection that kept his spirit alive within the family.
