In Loving Memory

ROSIE M REYNOLDS
July 9, 1952 — May 28, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Rosie M. Reynolds, who peacefully left this world on May 28, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 9, 1952, in Winchester, Indiana, Rosie was a beacon of love and warmth to all who knew her. She was 73 years young, with a life well-lived and cherished by many.
Rosie was the devoted daughter of the late Mary and Gilbert Lewis. She was also preceded in death by her dear brother, Charles Zeilger. Her family was her pride and joy, and she leaves behind a legacy of love in her surviving family members: her two adoring daughters, Mary Watson and her husband Thomas, and Bridgett Ackman; her loving son, Jeremy Reynolds; as well as ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren who will carry forward her vibrant spirit.
In 1975, Rosie graduated from Wapahani High School, where she forged friendships that lasted a lifetime. In 1976, she married Robert Marshall Wilburn, with whom she shared four wonderful years. In 1980, she found her soulmate in Lawrence Eugene Reynolds, with whom she spent the rest of her days, creating a life filled with love and laughter.
Rosie dedicated 43 years of her life as a Quality Technician at Anchor Glass, where her colleagues remember her not only for her commitment and expertise but also for her infectious smile and generous heart. Her work ethic and kindness touched everyone she encountered.
Outside of work, Rosie cherished every moment spent with her family. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed the thrill of Bingo, and found peace in fishing. Her family recalls her as a woman known for her big heart—a heart that embraced not only her family but everyone she met.
The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Rosie’s life at a memorial service scheduled for June 4, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Thornburg Memorial Chapel, located on Highway 32 in Parker City, Indiana. It will be a time to honor Rosie’s memory, share stories of her remarkable life, and find solace in the company of those who loved her.
Rosie M. Reynolds will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy of love, kindness, and warmth will forever be cherished and remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
