September 16, 1950 — January 10, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound respect that we announce the passing of Rosie Collins, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, who departed this world on January 9, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on September 15, 1950, in the quaint town of Ionia, Michigan, Rosie lived a life full of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those around her. Rosie was the cherished daughter of the late Arze Collins and Dorothy Goodwin. She was welcomed into heaven by her beloved parents and her dear siblings, Russel, Richard, Helen, and Donna, who predeceased her. Their memories always held a special place in her heart, and their spirits were a guiding light throughout her life. Surviving Rosie is her treasured son, Joey, who was the pride and joy of her life. Rosie's nurturing spirit and unfailing support shaped Joey into the remarkable individual he is today. Her legacy lives on in him, as he carries forward her values of compassion, strength, and integrity. Rosie is also survived by her loving sisters, Evelyn, Margie, June, and Edith, and her devoted brothers, Verd and Leonard. Their sibling bond was a testament to the enduring power of family, and they provided one another with a lifetime of shared experiences, laughter, and love. Rosie's presence will be missed at family gatherings, where her warm smile and generous heart never failed to light up the room. Rosie was a woman of simple pleasures, finding joy in the everyday moments that life offered. She was known for her green thumb, tending to her garden with the same love and care that she extended to her family and friends. Her home was always open, and her kitchen was often filled with the comforting aromas of homemade meals, lovingly prepared for those she held dear. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Rosie's life and legacy. In keeping with her wishes, the ceremony will be a time for her family to come together in reflection and remembrance, celebrating the remarkable life she lived and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of those who knew her. While Rosie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched. Her legacy is one of love, kindness, and an unyielding commitment to family. As we bid farewell, we do so with gratitude for having been blessed by her presence and with the knowledge that her love will forever remain a guiding light in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Rosie's memory to a charity of your choice, as a tribute to her generous spirit and lifelong dedication to helping others. Rosie Collins will be dearly missed but never forgotten, as her memory will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
