August 15, 1964 – May 30, 2026 Pontiac, Michigan – Roshaun Williams, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 30, 2026, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. Born on August 15, 1964, in Pontiac, Michigan, Roshaun was a beacon of kindness and warmth to all who knew him. Roshaun was the cherished son of the late Robert Waters and Elaine Williams. He was predeceased by his father, his brother Lindsay Waters, and his grandparents, Sue and Richard Waters. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Elaine Williams, with whom he shared a beautiful and fulfilling life. Their journey together began on June 8, 2011, when they married in a picturesque ceremony in Hawaii, forming a bond that was admired by all. Roshaun was a devoted father to his son, Rayshaun Williams, and a proud grandfather to Sophia Williams, who brought immense joy to his life. His brother, Joseph Waters, also survives him, carrying forward the family legacy alongside Roshaun’s close-knit family. Roshaun's educational journey began at Pontiac Central High School, where he graduated with distinction. His passion for learning led him to pursue an associate degree in Business Management, laying a strong foundation for his professional endeavors. A man of many talents and interests, Roshaun had a deep love for working on cars, a hobby that connected him to many friends and family members. He found peace and joy in fishing and cooking, creating dishes that were as warm as his heart. His vast collection of books and comics was a testament to his inquisitive nature and love for storytelling. Roshaun will be remembered for his unwavering generosity and kind spirit. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, often before they even realized they needed it. His sweet and compassionate soul touched the lives of everyone he met, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. A service to celebrate Roshaun's life will be held on June 7, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Lada Bible Church, located at 1640 Paris Ave. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a life well-lived and a person deeply loved. The Williams family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported Roshaun throughout his life and during his illness. Your kindness and support have been a source of comfort and strength during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a cancer charity of your choice, in honor of Roshaun's brave fight and enduring spirit.
