December 9, 1946 — April 25, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rosemary Ann Fry, who departed this world on April 25, 2026, surrounded by her beloved family. Born on December 9, 1946, in the bustling city of London, England. She left the U.K. at the age of 19 to come to the states and became a nanny. Rosemary spent her 79 years leaving an indelible mark on everyone she met. Her journey ended peacefully, after a courageous battle with dementia, a testament to the strength and grace she demonstrated throughout her life. Rosemary was the cherished daughter of Leslie and Violet Treacher, who instilled in her the values of love, resilience, and laughter. Her brother, Alan and wife Barbra, remains a testament to the family bond that was central to Rosemary's life. She was a devoted mother to her children, Lisa and Ed Boes, Rob and Jenn Barrera, and Laurie and Melvin Barrera, who were the light of her life. Her legacy continues through her 11 grandchildren, Brittany, Victoria, Robert, Hannah, Lukas, Lilia, Meko, Melvin, Jeremy, Justyce, Mercadez and 12 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her days. One partner in crime particularly, Meko. Professionally, Rosemary dedicated her career to quality control in the automotive industry, where her meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to excellence were widely admired. Her colleagues remember her as a beacon of positivity, always ready with a smile and a quick-witted joke. Outside of work, Rosemary's passions were as diverse as they were vibrant. A passion of hers was her love for music. The Beatles, Rolling stones, Eric Clapton and Ozzy being some of her favorites. She was a rocker. An avid gardener, she found peace and purpose in the beauty of nature, often spending hours tending to her beloved plants. She was equally at home in the kitchen, where she crafted culinary delights that are fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of tasting them. Her honey cookies, brownies, coffee cake, lamb, and homemade mint sauce were legendary, each bite a reminder of her warmth and hospitality. Rosemary's love for the arts was evident in her painting, where she captured the world with the same vibrancy and color that she brought to her life. Her penchant for hockey was a shared joy with family and friends, a reminder of the spirited enthusiasm she carried into every endeavor. Those who knew Rosemary appreciated her candid nature and her commitment to proper English—one of her delightful pet peeves that endeared her to many. Her ability to always see the brighter side of life, to laugh, and to love unconditionally will be profoundly missed but never forgotten. As we celebrate Rosemary's life, we remember a woman whose presence illuminated every room, whose laughter was infectious, and whose love knew no bounds. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched, a lasting legacy of joy, love, and resilience. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Rosemary’s memory to organizations supporting dementia research, continuing her fight and hope for future generations. A private memorial service will be held, honoring Rosemary’s wish to be remembered surrounded by the love of her family and close friends. Rest in peace, dear Rosemary. Your memory will forever be a guiding light in our lives.
