Roseline Denise Earwood
June 30, 1947 — February 20, 2026
With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing of Roseline Denise Earwood, who left this world peacefully on February 20, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on June 30, 1947, in the charming city of Liege, Belgium, Roseline was the beloved daughter of Eugene and Wanda Straley, who predeceased her, alongside her brother, Christian Straley, and her devoted husband, Kenneth Earwood.
Roseline's journey through life was one marked by love, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to her family and community. Her marriage to Kenneth on September 9, 1973, was a testament to enduring love and partnership—a union that served as a foundation for the family they cherished together. Kenneth, who preceded her in death, remains a significant part of her legacy.
A devoted Christian, Roseline was an active volunteer at local food pantries, where her generosity and kindness touched the lives of many. Her faith guided her actions and imbued her with a sense of purpose that inspired those around her.
Roseline's heart was as expansive as her interests. She had a profound passion for art, nature, and animals, finding beauty and inspiration in the world around her. Her commitment to preserving family history was a gift to future generations, as she lovingly shared stories and safeguarded heirlooms that kept the memory of lost loved ones alive.
Her warmth and kindness were legendary, and she was known for her radiant smiles and comforting hugs. She cherished quality time spent with family and friends, often engaging in long, heartfelt phone calls that bridged any distance.
Roseline leaves behind a tapestry of love woven through her surviving family: her children Chrystal (Don) Cannon and John Rose, stepchildren Deborah Earwood and Darlene Earwood, and her cherished sister, Linda Straley. Her legacy extends to her grandchildren, Ashley (Chase) Wilson, Michael (Jie) Planey, Taylor Planey, and Jessica Rose, and her great-grandchildren, Briar and Logan Wilson, who were the light of her life.
In this time of sorrow, her family finds solace in the special message they share: "Roseline touched the hearts of many throughout her lifetime and will forever remain in ours. She will be remembered and kept alive in our hearts, memories, and stories for years to come. It was a blessing to love her and to be loved by her. May she rest in peace and be surrounded by those she lost too soon in Heaven until we all may meet again."
Roseline Denise Earwood's life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and the enduring strength of family bonds. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, we hold her memory close, comforted by the knowledge that she is reunited with those who went before her and that her legacy of love will endure.
