With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Rose Sebro on February 12, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on August 30, 1940, in the vibrant island of Trinidad, Rose was a beacon of love and resilience, whose warmth and grace touched all who were fortunate to know her.
Rose was the cherished daughter of Marita Noray and Martin Rondon, who instilled in her the values of kindness and perseverance. Her journey through life was marked by unwavering devotion to her family, whom she loved with a boundless heart. Though preceded in death by her dear niece Ingrid Rondon, Judy Evans, Cheryl Rondon, her nephews Tyron Rond and Bunty Rondon, and great-nephew Wendell Rondon, Rose's spirit remains alive in the memories and stories shared by those who survive her.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her grandchildren: Deron Tyron Samuel, Fareed Albert Marcus Asad Samuel, Yager Rondon, Michael Rondon, Mya Gracie Francois, and Jumila Alexander. Her great-grandchildren, Diyani Samuel, Deriyana Samuel, and Katelyn Samuel, will forever hold dear the warmth of her embrace and the wisdom of her stories.
Rose's nurturing spirit extended to her nieces and nephews, Kirk, Linda, Jasmine, Jennifer, and Lorine, and her great-nieces and nephews, Alana, Roxanne, Fauline, Jasmine, Regina, and Shaya, who all benefitted from her unconditional love and guidance. Her daughter-in-law, Magdalene Rondon, shared a special bond with Rose, one built on mutual respect and shared joys.
Among her closest companions was Edna Wilson, a friend who stood by her through life's many seasons. Rose's goddaughter, Natasha Wilson-Winters, was a testament to the special connections she fostered throughout her life.
Rose also leaves behind a large extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who were touched by her generosity and kindness. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and hospitality, where laughter and love were always in abundance.
Her life was a testament to the power of love, family, and community. Rose's legacy will endure in the hearts of those she touched, a reminder of the beauty of a life dedicated to the service of others. As we say goodbye, we celebrate a remarkable woman whose spirit will continue to inspire us all.
The family will hold a private service in her honor, celebrating the life of a truly remarkable woman who gave so much of herself to those she loved. Rose Sebro will be dearly missed but never forgotten, as her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Rose's name to a charity close to her heart, reflecting her lifelong commitment to helping others.
