With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Rose Ramirez, who departed this world on May 5, 2026, at the age of 60. Rose passed away peacefully due to a heart attack, surrounded by her loving family at the hospital. Her absence leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Born on December 16, 1965, in the vibrant Bronx, NY, Rose was a radiant soul from the very beginning. She was the cherished daughter of the late Linda and Ernesto Ramirez, and she brought immense joy and light into their lives. Rose was predeceased by her parents, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms into their eternal embrace. A proud alumna of Jackie Robinson High School, class of 1982, Rose pursued her passion for business at Hostos College, where she graduated with an Associate’s Degree in 1985. Her educational journey was one of dedication and hard work, setting the stage for her future endeavors. Rose’s life was a tapestry woven with love, creativity, and generosity. She possessed an artistic soul, finding solace and joy in painting and arts and crafts. Her hands were never idle, always crafting beautiful decorations and school projects that reflected her boundless creativity. These artistic pursuits were her peace of mind, and she shared them generously with everyone around her. Known for her selflessness and warmth, Rose had an innate ability to sense when someone needed help, often before they even realized it themselves. Her giving nature knew no bounds, and she found joy in making others happy. Her kindness left an indelible mark on everyone she met, creating a legacy of love and compassion that will endure in our hearts. Rose is survived by her cherished children, Santa Delgado and Lily Delgado, who were the center of her universe. Her siblings, Shamaris and Lonnie Ramirez, will forever remember their sister’s laughter and unwavering support. She also leaves behind her adored nieces, Manyia Yearby and Amaya Ramirez, and nephews, Tyrell Yearby, D’elegance Yearby, and Jahzell Ramirez, who will dearly miss their affectionate aunt. Though Rose was not blessed with grandchildren or great-grandchildren, her legacy will continue through the countless lives she touched with her kindness and generosity. A memorial service to honor Rose's beautiful life will be held on May 12, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Andrett Funeral Home, located at 199 Bleecker St, New York, NY 10012. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a woman who gave so much of herself to others. Rose Ramirez will forever be remembered as a beacon of love and kindness. As we say goodbye, we carry her in our hearts, knowing that her legacy will live on in the love she shared so freely.
