Rose Mary Vasquez

November 20, 1946 — June 27, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Rose Mary Vasquez, who left this world peacefully on June 27, 2026, after a courageous battle against medical issues. Born on November 20, 1946, in Upland, California, Rose was a beacon of love, kindness, and resilience to all who knew her. Rose was the cherished daughter of Felecita and Daniel Vasquez, who preceded her in death. She was a devoted sister to Esther and Daniel, who, along with her, shared countless treasured memories. She was a loving and nurturing mother to her daughters Jessica (and husband Nick), Kathy (and husband Art), and Esther. Her family was her pride and joy, and she poured her heart into raising them with love and strength. A graduate of Chino High School in 1963, Rose pursued a career in education, dedicating 13 inspiring years as a teacher's assistant. Her unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds was a testament to her generous spirit. Eventually, Rose embraced the role of a full-time mother, a position she held with great devotion and joy. Rose's passions extended beyond her family and career. She was a master seamstress, whose intricate creations were a testament to her talent and patience. Her garden was a flourishing testament to her love of nature, and her adventurous spirit led her to countless bingo nights with dear friends. She was also an enthusiastic traveler, exploring the wonders of Canada, Puerto Rico, and Costa Rica, all the while embracing the diverse cultures and experiences they had to offer. Her warmth and welcoming presence brightened the lives of those around her. Rose had a special gift for conversation, bringing joy and laughter to family gatherings with her quick wit and infectious humor. She was a confidante and friend to many, always ready with a comforting word or a hearty laugh. Rose leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by her children, her grandchildren Kristal, Lauren, Jonathan, Solomon, Myles, and Joseph, and her great-grandchildren Julia, Cali, Abigail, Magnolia, Carter, and baby Cales. She is also remembered fondly by her extended family, including Cynthia Morales, and a host of friends who became family. A service to honor and celebrate Rose's life will be held on July 20, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe, located at 5048 D Street in Chino, CA. Her family invites all who knew and loved her to join in remembering a life so beautifully lived. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of choice in Rose's name, reflecting her spirit of giving and compassion. Rose Mary Vasquez will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. May she rest in peace, forever loved and forever remembered.
