In Loving Memory

Rose Marie Simpson
August 1, 1946 — June 9, 2026
In loving memory, we celebrate the remarkable life of Rose Marie Simpson, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026, at the age of 79, with her beloved husband by her side. Rose was born on August 1, 1946, in Pennsylvania, to her loving parents, Julia and Stefan Polinsky. Throughout her life, Rose embodied the spirit of generosity and inclusiveness, touching the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Rose's life was a testament to the power of love and family. She married the love of her life, Francis Simpson, in July 1964, and together they created a beautiful life filled with laughter, warmth, and unwavering support. Their union, which spanned 60 wonderful years, was blessed with three children. Though her son Glenn preceded her in passing, Rose's legacy continues through her surviving daughters, Elizabeth Simpson and Michelle Chevallier, who carry forward her compassion and strength.
Rose's heart was as vast as her family, and she delighted in the joys of being a grandmother to four wonderful grandchildren: Leah Campos, Alex Campos, Andrew Campos, and Jade Donaldson. Her love extended even further to her great-grandson, Gareth Campos-Ferng, who will grow up hearing stories of his great-grandmother's kindness and wisdom.
A woman of boundless curiosity and warmth, Rose was known for her ability to engage with others, always eager to learn from those around her. She opened her home and heart to anyone in need of comfort or companionship, creating a sanctuary of love and acceptance. Her light shone brightly, leaving an indelible mark on all who crossed her path.
Rose was predeceased by her parents, Julia and Stefan, her brothers, John and Steve Polinsky, and her dear son, Glenn. She is survived by her devoted husband, Francis; her sister, Carol Hoffman; her daughters, Elizabeth and Michelle; her grandchildren and great-grandson, who all carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.
A service to honor the life of Rose Marie Simpson will be held on June 11, 2026, at 09:30. The location and address are to be determined. Family and friends are invited to join together to celebrate Rose's life, sharing memories and paying tribute to a woman who brought so much joy and love into the world.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Rose's name to a charity that reflects her generous spirit and commitment to helping others.
Rose's gentle soul will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace, forever embraced by the love she so freely gave.
