Sharon Rose Fielden

May 27, 1948 — July 30, 2026

Sharon Rose (Boewe) Fielden, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on July 30, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of joy and kindness. Born on May 27, 1948, at her grandparents home in Richland County, Rose was the cherished daughter of Marion Boewe and Margaret Musgrave. Throughout her life, Rose was a beacon of warmth to all who knew her. Growing up in a large and loving family, she was the sister to Kay Moore, Larry Boewe, Darby (Tanya) Boewe, Michele (Danny) Iverson, Mike (Tami) Boewe, Dawn Deshotel, and Shawn Boewe. Rose's children are Kirk Mason of Fairfield, IL, Tonya (Brian) Couch of Hendersonville, TN, Danny (Sherri) Fielden of Olney, IL, and Tim Fielden of Olney, IL. Her children were her pride and joy. Her five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren were the apples of her eye, and she enjoyed every chance she got to hear from them. An avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Rose found immense joy in watching baseball games. Her love for animals was well-known in the community, as she fed and cared for countless stray animals, embodying the compassion and empathy that defined her character. She also enjoyed reading. Her laughter was infectious. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Don; her parents, Marion (Liz) Boewe and Margaret (Dalton) Musgrave; her brothers-in-law, Isaac Deshotel and Tom Moore; and her sister-in-law, Ginger Boewe. The family invites those who knew and loved Rose to join in celebrating her life and cherishing the memories she leaves behind. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that donations be made to a local animal shelter, in honor of Rose’s enduring love for animals. Rose's memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 8 at 2:00 at the Moravian Church in West Salem, followed by a gathering of family and friends in the fellowship hall to reminisce about her life. Rose’s legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.

In Loving Memory

May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
