September 2, 1980 — March 8, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Roscoe Ray Gannon, who departed this world on March 8, 2026, at the age of 45. Born in Dayton, Ohio, on September 2, 1980, Roscoe was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity. Roscoe was the cherished son of the late Justin and Angie Gannon, who instilled in him the values of compassion and dedication that he carried throughout his life. He is survived by his devoted wife, Nicole V. Gannon, with whom he shared a joyful and adventure-filled life. Together, they raised three wonderful children, Sammy, Drake, and Lexie, who were his pride and joy. Roscoe was also a doting grandfather to one grandchild who brought him immense happiness. Roscoe's life was marked by a deep commitment to family and friends. He was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone, whether he knew them well or had just met them. His giving nature and warm heart left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. For two decades, Roscoe thrived as a semi-trucker, a career he truly loved. The open road was his second home, and he relished the freedom and adventure it offered. His dedication to his work was matched only by his love for fishing and camping, activities he enjoyed with family and friends. These moments spent in the great outdoors were filled with laughter, stories, and the creation of countless cherished memories. In addition to his immediate family, Roscoe is survived by his sister-in-law, Rae M. Dodson, and his parents-in-law, Paul Dodson and Amy Johnson, who held him in high regard and loved him dearly. Roscoe's departure leaves a void in our hearts, yet his spirit lives on in the memories he created and the love he shared. His life was a testament to the power of kindness, the importance of family, and the joy found in simple pleasures. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Roscoe's life and legacy, allowing those closest to him to reflect on the beautiful impact he had on their lives. While we mourn his physical absence, we celebrate the extraordinary life he led and the legacy of love he leaves behind. Roscoe Ray Gannon will forever be remembered for his unwavering generosity, his devotion to family and friends, and his zest for life. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love he so freely gave to others.
