March 7, 1969 — July 30, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rosalyn Lee, a cherished mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, great aunt, cousin and friend. Rosalyn was born on March 7, 1969, in Saint Louis, Missouri, and peacefully departed this world on July 30, 2026, at home. Rosalyn was the beloved daughter of Vanessa Williams and the late Don Lee, and she carried forward the legacy of kindness and compassion that her family instilled in her. She was predeceased by her son, Frederico Townley, her father Don Lee, her grandfather Charles Lee, Uncle Roderick Lee, and niece Allanah Whitten. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who survive her: her mother, Vanessa; her loving daughter, Michelle Lee; her sons, Michael Lee, Terron Lee, Jerron Lee, and Justine Lee; and her sister, Danielle Lee. Rosalyn also leaves behind a generation of grandchildren who were the light of her life: Mason Lee, Mekhi Lee, Mia Lee, Michael Lee Jr., Kali Lee, Terron Lee Jr., Taylin Lee, and Jerron Lee Jr. Additionally, she is survived by her grandmother, Evelyn Lee, and her aunts Valerie Cheers (Mike), Debora Cheers (Sam), and her namesake, Rosalyn Burse (Mark), nieces Daezha Lee and Jayla Whitten, great nieces Charm Hudson, Clover Hudson and Cloud Hudson, cousins and friends who all held a special place in her heart. Throughout her life, Rosalyn dedicated herself to caring for others, working tirelessly as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her gentle nature and unwavering commitment to her patients left an indelible mark on all those she cared for. She found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in the company of her grandchildren and her beloved grandmother, Evelyn. These moments were her treasures, and she cherished every laugh and every hug shared with her family. Rosalyn’s warmth, compassion, and selflessness were felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy will be one of love, strength, and the importance of family. She had an incredible ability to make those around her feel valued and cared for, and her absence leaves a void that will not easily be filled. As we mourn the loss of Rosalyn, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the countless ways she touched our hearts. She will forever be remembered and deeply missed.
