Born June 27, 1946, in Felton, Delaware, Rosalie peacefully left this world at home, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering dedication.
Rosalie was the beloved daughter of Alta and Roland Dill, who instilled in her the values of hard work, compassion, and honesty. She was predeceased by her dear sisters, Mini May Dill and Marsha Corker, and her cherished son, Paul Fredrick Cain, Granddaughter Stephanie Sheridan whose memories she held close to her heart every day.
Her enduring spirit and love continue to inspire her surviving family members, who will forever hold her in their hearts. Rosalie is survived by her devoted sons, Tony Cain and Paul Cain, and her daughter in-law Charity Hershberger. Her brothers, David Dill and his wife Christian Mitchell Dill and his wife Deloris, Johnny Dill and his wife Florence, and Joe Dill and his wife Margaret, remember her with fondness and gratitude for her unwavering support and love.
Rosalie was blessed with eight grandchildren Tony Cain his spouse Monica Hoeflich ,Vanessa Cain , Bryant Cain his spouse Jessica Wothers Paul Cain his spouse Alexis Howerin Tj Young and Dawn Cox and seven great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride into her life. She delighted in their achievements and cherished every moment spent in their company, creating a tapestry of memories that will be treasured for generations.
A long-time and dedicated employee of the Camden Moose Lodge, Rosalie was admired for her loyalty and commitment. Her connection to the Moose was more than professional; it was a community she held dear, where she found camaraderie and purpose.
Rosalie's life was a testament to her passions. She loved to cook, filling her home with delicious aromas and the warmth of shared meals. She was an avid reader, often found with a book in hand, exploring new worlds and ideas. Her joy in dancing was a reflection of her vibrant spirit, always moving to the rhythm of life with grace and enthusiasm.
Known for her straightforward nature, Rosalie was a "straight shooter," unafraid to express her thoughts and feelings honestly. Yet, beneath her candor was a heart brimming with kindness and generosity. She would do anything for anyone if she could, always putting the needs of others before her own.
