Born on July 7, 1932, in Liberty, Indiana, Rosalene was a beacon of warmth and kindness whose presence enriched the lives of all who knew her.
Rosalene was the cherished daughter of Kenneth and Marie Husted, who instilled in her the values of love, kindness, and dedication, which she carried throughout her life. She was predeceased by her beloved parents and her brother, Marlin Husted, as well as her dear husband, Carl Hackman.
A proud graduate of Liberty High School, Class of 1949, Rosalene's journey through life was marked by her unwavering commitment to family and community. On September 2, 1951, she married the love of her life, Lloyd Hackman. Together, they crafted a beautiful tapestry of memories and joy, raising three wonderful children—Denise, Craig, and Diane. For 74 years, Lloyd and Rosalene shared an extraordinary partnership filled with love and laughter, creating a legacy of devotion that will inspire generations to come.
Rosalene's zest for life was beautifully reflected in her love for golf, a passion she pursued fervently as a long-time member of Worthington Hills Country Club and Fiddlesticks Country Club in Ft. Myers, Florida. Her love for nature and her community was evident in her tireless volunteer work at her church and various nature centers, where she touched countless lives with her generosity and grace.
Beyond her many accomplishments and passions, Rosalene was a devoted grandmother to four grandchildren and a loving great-grandmother to three great-grandchildren. Her family was the heart of her world, and she cherished every moment spent in their company, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Rosalene's legacy is one of love, compassion, and an unwavering spirit that brightened even the darkest of days. Her infectious smile and kind-hearted nature left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her life was a testament to the power of love, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
As we bid farewell to our beloved Rosalene, we take solace in the knowledge that her spirit will forever guide and inspire us. Her life was a beautiful symphony of love, laughter, and kindness, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
