In Loving Memory

Rosa Lee Myers Fields
October 5, 1943 — June 8, 2026
It is with deep sorrow yet profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Rosa Lee Myers Fields, who departed this world on June 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at Norton-Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Born on October 5, 1943, in Pike County, Kentucky, Rosa Lee graced the world with her presence for 82 remarkable years. She was the loving daughter of Lewis Clay Myers and Martha Magdalene Justice Myers. Rosa Lee is now reunited with her beloved parents and her dear nephew, Stephen Turner, who predeceased her.
Rosa Lee's life was a testament to the power of love and devotion. She is survived by her two adoring children, Deborah Fields Kuhn and her husband Andrew, and David Fields and his wife Peggy Wilson Fields, who were the center of her universe. Her legacy continues through her treasured grandchildren, Daniel, Arizona, and Giovanni, who were the pride and joy of her later years. Rosa Lee shared a special bond with her two sisters, Clara Myers Campbell and Lana Myers Boor. Her nieces, Lisa, Jennifer, and Rheannon, and her nephew Michael, will forever cherish her memory.
Rosa Lee dedicated over two decades of her professional life as an exemplary accountant at O.H. Bromberg & Associates, retiring in 2005. A woman of faith, Rosa Lee attended the Douglass Hills Church of Christ every Sunday while in good health.
Rosa Lee's greatest joy was found in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished spending time with her family and friends, who will miss her warmth and laughter. She loved to read and watch mysteries on TV - like Columbo, one of her favorite television shows. Rosa Lee enjoyed eating out at her favorite restaurants - Italian doughnuts being her dessert of choice - and a Fifth Avenue candy bar was a treat she could never resist. Her love for animals, especially her cats, was evident in the tender care she gave them, with her beloved Loki holding a special place in her heart.
Those who knew Rosa Lee will remember her for her unwavering courage in the face of adversity, particularly during her battle with ALS. Her thoughtfulness and kindness left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate to know her. Even in her final days, her wit, sprinkled with just a hint of spice, brought smiles to those around her.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. In honor of Rosa Lee's enduring spirit and to continue the fight against the illness that cruelly took her from us too soon, the family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The ALS Association - https://www.als.org. Donations can also be made to another favorite charity of Rosa Lee’s, the Animal Care Society – https://www.animalcaresociety.org.
