Ronnie Edward Cunningham

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ronnie Edward Cunningham, a cherished husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. Ronnie left this world on July 16, 2026, at the age of 65, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on March 14, 1961, in Greenwood, South Carolina, to the late Walter "Ted" and Bernice Price Cunningham. He was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church. Ronnie's life was a testament to love, resilience, and unwavering dedication to those he held dear. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Linda Cunningham Searles, and his brothers Harold, James, and Joel Cunningham. Ronnie is survived by his loving siblings, Jacqueline Cunningham of Plumbranch, SC; Claudine Gary (Isaiah) of McCormick, SC; Shelia Cunningham of Atlanta, GA; and Sharon Callahan (John) of Beaumont, TX, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who were blessed to know him. Ronnie shared a beautiful life with his beloved wife, Tracy Cunningham, and was a devoted father to Stephanie Martin (Carlton) of Abbeville, SC; Shirika Morgan (Rodney) of Plumbranch, SC; Princess Blanchard (Joevae) of Petersburg, VA; and Shakita Duncan of Greenwood, SC. His role as a grandfather was one he treasured deeply, and he was immensely proud of his grandchildren: Sincere Barker, Demarco Martin, Carlton Martin Jr., Yazmeen Morgan, Tykera Morgan, Aaleah Brown, and Khamari Blanchard. Ronnie's legacy continues through his four great-grandchildren: Legend Morgan, Adrien Barker, and two others whose names remain tenderly held in the family's hearts. Ronnie attended Mims High School and went on to build a respected career as a construction worker, dedicating over 30 years to his trade. Even after retiring, Ronnie's passion for helping others persisted as he continued to lend his skills to family and friends, always with a smile and a willing heart. Ronnie Edward Cunningham left behind a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion. He will be deeply missed and eternally remembered by all whose lives he touched. May his soul rest in peace.
