With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of Ronda Sue Owens (Jones), who departed this world on July 16, 2026, at the age of 60. Born on August 16, 1965, in the warm embrace of Apache Junction, AZ, Ronda’s life was a testament to love, kindness, and unwavering generosity.
Ronda was the cherished daughter of Chuck Jones and the late Donna Bachelor. She was predeceased by her beloved mother, her sister Terri Grandstaff, and her nephew Dallas Jones Jr. Despite these profound losses, Ronda's spirit remained resilient and her heart open, offering love and support to those around her.
For many years, Ronda dedicated herself to her work as a paralegal, bringing diligence and compassion to her profession. Her colleagues and clients alike remember her not only for her expertise but also for her kindness and integrity.
Ronda's life was a tapestry of vibrant interests and passions. She found joy in the outdoors, often spending her free time riding horses, fishing, and feeding the ducks. An avid reader, she could often be found lost in the pages of a beloved book, her imagination as expansive as the Arizona skies she grew up under.
Above all, Ronda will be remembered for her boundless generosity and her big heart, qualities that endeared her to everyone she met. Her kindness and compassion were the hallmarks of her character, leaving an indelible mark on friends and family alike.
Ronda is survived by her loving partner of ten years, Joey Billegas, and her devoted children, Joshua Jones and Megan Thompson, and their families. She was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren and a great-grandmother to two, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.
A memorial service to honor Ronda’s life will be held on August 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at GracePlace Church, located at 520 Big Stone Gap Rd, Duncanville, TX 75137. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate the love and memories Ronda so generously shared during her time with us.
