Obituary It is with profound sadness yet with a sense of celebration for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Ronald Wayne Green, who departed this world on July 15, 2026. Born on June 14, 1960, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Ron was the beloved son of Gilbert Dayton Green and Nelda Rae Green. His journey through life was marked by love, laughter, and a deep devotion to his family and friends. Ron was a man of many talents and interests. A graduate of Jackson High School in Missouri, he found his niche in the printing industry, where he dedicated many years until his retirement in 2022. Known for his kind heart and warm smile, Ron had an incredible ability to connect with those around him, often lightening the mood with a well-timed joke. On January 4, 1991, Ron married the love of his life, Regina Marie Green, in Lockhart, Texas. Together, they shared 35 wonderful years, building a family and creating countless cherished memories. Ron was the proud father to Derick James Bosquez and Paige Ann Campos, and a doting grandfather to two grandchildren, who he loved dearly and was always ready to support whenever they needed him. Ron found immense joy in gathering his family for BBQs, where laughter filled the air and bonds were strengthened. He took great pleasure in being a source of support and guidance to his grandchildren, always ready with a helping hand and a loving heart. Though preceded in death by his brothers, Michael and Gary Green, his sisters, Anita Grant and Laura K Green, along with nephews Aaron Green, Kaleb Green, Daniel Weston, Ethan Grant, and niece Bethany Brown, Ron leaves behind a legacy of love. He is survived by his beloved wife, Regina, his children, Derick (Leticia Angel) and Paige, and his grandchildren, Derick Bosquez Jr. and Yoselin Orduna, who will continue to honor his memory through their lives. A service to celebrate Ron's life will be held on July 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM at O’Bannon Funeral Home, located at 210 S. Laurel, Luling, TX 78648. The family of Ronald Wayne Green extends heartfelt gratitude for your prayers, support, and kindness during this time. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Ron's memory to a charity of your choice.
