With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Ronald Santo Brin Palma on May 21, 2026. At the age of 53, Ronald left us quietly at home, concluding a courageous battle with tuberculosis and diabetes, surrounded by the enduring love of his family. Born on October 2, 1972, in the serene and quaint town of Poblacion 08 San Juan, Cuenca, Batangas, Ronald spent his formative years amidst the warmth of family and community. He was the beloved son of the late Mario Rosales Palma and Maria Fajardo Brin. Preceded in death by his father and cherished sister Thess Palma, Ronald's memory will forever be treasured by those he leaves behind. He is survived by his devoted wife, Fe, with whom he shared a remarkable journey of 28 years. Their marriage, which began on September 14, 1997, in Cuenca, Batangas, was a testament to love that weathered life's storms and celebrated its sunshine. Together, they raised seven remarkable children: Jun Alexander, Jun Aldrich, Nicky Bryan, John Carlos, Peter James, James, and Carl Justine. Their home was a canvas painted with challenges, failures, acceptance, love, and laughter. The legacy of Ronald's love extends to his two grandchildren, who were a source of immense joy and pride for him. He also leaves behind his siblings, Gina, Boyet, Benita, Edith, Arnel, Ellen, Joseph, and Misael, who will continue to carry his memory forward in their hearts. Ronald's journey began in the classrooms of Cuenca Central Elementary School, where he laid the foundations for a life defined by hard work and dedication. His career as a master baker was more than a job; it was a craft he honed with precision and passion, providing sustenance and comfort to his family. Later, as a construction worker, he continued to support his loved ones, exemplifying resilience and determination every step of the way. In his younger years, Ronald found solace and joy in baking and fishing, pastimes that allowed him to connect with nature and nurture his creative spirit. Those who knew him well remember him as a shy and simple man, a father who, despite his imperfections, never wavered in his commitment to providing for his family. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Ronald's life, reflecting the family's desire for intimacy and peace during this time of mourning. As they gather to celebrate his life and legacy, they remember the special message they shared: Though we were not a perfect family and often faced misunderstandings along the way, we always chose to stay together and hold on to the promises we made to one another. Through every challenge, love, commitment, and family remained stronger than our differences. Ronald Santo Brin Palma leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and devotion. Though he may have departed from this world, his spirit remains in the hearts of those who loved him. As we say our final goodbyes, we celebrate a life that touched many, a life that will continue to inspire. May he rest in eternal peace.
